These are both Add-on issues, the no phone number one is a skype addon issue, disable it, by hitting alt then go under tools, then manage addons then add/disable addons, disable all skype add ons. The freezing when opening a new tab issue is caused by the Live Toolbar, which can be disabled the same way. Like I promised powershell is coming soon no worries.
