Cliff Stoll, hackers, math and the future.

So I first heard about Cliff Stoll through a teacher, who told me about The Cuckoo's Egg: Tracking a Spy Through the Maze of Computer Espionage. It's a great early hacker book, and he doesn't go easy on the tech. So anyways pick it up and if you don't get it from a torrent buy it through my squidoo site, I think I get a quarter. He also did a TED talk about the future. And he makes Klein bottles. Oh yeah and why did I think of all this? Well someone had a tattoo of a mobius strip on flickr.

PS I hear Cliff Stoll is in a PBS special and if anybody has a copy, drop me a line.

New Squidoo page

Squidoo is a new interesting service that lets you make a page very quickly. Squidoo is made to be a really easy way to monetize yourself on the net...I think? Anyway here is the new squidoo page:

Hacker Culture.
