Henry Rollins VS. Techno Viking ( Steve Porter Remix )

I don't usually like to embed video's that aren't mine or someone I know but I liked this a little to much not to share.

I will be djing tonight, bdpunk 9unkz0r.com party

Last night and tonight I will be djing, we are having a 9unkz0r/bsdpunk blog party in the irc room at http://irc.9unkz0r.com or you can point your clients at irc://irc.9unkz0r.com. In the room #9unkz0r. The music will start somewhere around 10 Eastern Time.

Hacker Culture Blog Windows Vista Gadget

New BSDPunk Windows Vista Gadget. To install it unzip that file into a directory called dj.gadget in:
%userprofile%\appdata\local\microsoft\windows sidebar\gadgets
So basically when you are done the three files are in:
%userprofile%\appdata\local\microsoft\windows sidebar\gadgets\dj.gadget
Then just go to your windows sidebar and hit the plus button and it should be in the list.

Wait a minute...What the fuck does it do? So you guys can take it apart and look at it but basically it's just a link and then some ajax bullshit that goes to my page so I can say if I am djing or not...ok so why not just call it the BSDPunk DJ gadget? Well because of ajax magic I can really put any sort of web information into the gadget, like updates about blog posts or just like a one way twitter or something, or I could but like vb shit in there and give you guys weird different kinds of functionality every week! So what's it do, I don't know. Just install it if you use gadgets and we can figure out together. Oh hey and if you want to create your own gadgets check here:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/scriptcenter/topics/vista/gadgets-pt1.mspx

And I was having trouble with my xml file because of encoding or something so if you make one and you go to add it to your sidebar and it isn't showing up in your sidebar, download the sample one from here:
http://www.danielmoth.com/Blog/2006/10/vista-sample-sidebar-gadget.html
And just edit it.

PS I made another Ann Arbor Post on wereboobs.

Djing

Ok so the icecast2 server seems to be doing quite well. So to listen to me dj go to 9unkz0r.com every weekday night and click the DJ BSDPunk link at the bottom. So the deal is that right now it is playing through JOrbis. But by tommorrow I will have a link to the actual stream, and the jorbis player. The problem with the actual stream is icecast2 or my server seems to be denying a good 1/10th of people from the stream and website. If you give me more than tomorrow like say the next day maybe I will have a flash player as well, and hey if you give me two weeks I should have a little graphic of a light on all my web properties that will be lit if I am djing and not lit if I am not and if you guys, if you stick around even longer, say three weeks I should have one more graphic of a light, and that one will be lit if someone else is djing. If you want to dj hit me up by the way.
